Privacy Policy

How our private team library handles Instagram information, content references and account connections.

Operator And Contact

Ember Media Trends is operated by Ember Gaming LLC for its invited workers and models. Contact support@embergaming.studio with privacy questions, corrections or data requests. This page describes the tool’s current operation.

Google Sign-In And Your Profile

Google identity verification through Cloudflare Access supplies a verified identity, including your email and account identifier. Ember uses its invitation roster to decide which tools and controls you can access. The tool stores your interface-language preference and displays your approved roster name. It does not receive your Google password or request Gmail messages, contacts or Google Drive files.

Authentication uses provider-managed session cookies. Signing out ends the displayed session; it does not erase saved team records.

Instagram Account Connections

A worker assigned to an account in the Social Media Directory can authorize its professional Instagram account directly through Instagram. The requested access covers basic account information and available Insights. Ember checks the authorized account’s identity against the selected directory account before saving the connection.

Ember stores the account username, professional account identifier, authorization time, permission scope and expiry, together with an encrypted access token. Tokens stay on the server and are not shown in the team library. This connection does not request permission to publish posts, read direct messages or manage comments. You can withdraw authorization through Instagram’s connected-app controls and contact support about the information already stored.

Content And Performance Information

The library stores observed creator usernames, post identifiers, original links, captions, publication times, tags, media references and available performance numbers. Connected accounts can supply additional Insights, such as reach or audience breakdowns when Instagram permits them. Unavailable information is not treated as zero.

Collected references, performance observations and content tags are available to team members whose roles permit access. Internal Models and PP Models have separate access rules; PP membership does not grant access to Internal Models. Authorized team analytics can include accounts connected by other team members. Personal account-connection controls follow directory assignments; administrative controls have separate restrictions.

Likes, rejected ideas, wishlists and collections are private to your planning identity. Explicitly grouped sign-in accounts belonging to the same person can share that planning identity. Storyboards are private until their owner invites another approved user; invited users can access that storyboard without gaining access to the owner's wishlist or collections.

Private Video Playback And Retention

Ember can store a validated video copy for playback in the private team tool. Hosted video copies are kept in private Cloudflare storage and require an authorized team session. Playback expires 90 days after the original post’s publication date, rather than 90 days after download. Expired hosted copies are removed by the cleanup process; playback stops at expiry even if cleanup has not yet run.

Post metadata, recorded performance observations and saved planning references may remain after video playback expires. They have no automatic 90-day deletion rule. Removing a creator from active collection or signing out does not automatically erase those historical records. Contact support to request their review or removal.

Optional Local Playback Helper

An optional Chrome extension on the agency’s private computer uses that browser’s signed-in Instagram session to recover queued playback links. It passes a limited set of Instagram session cookies only to a local process on the same computer for a bounded recovery batch. The helper does not save those cookie values to its settings or upload them to the hosted team tool. Instagram itself still manages the browser’s normal cookies.

Automatic recovery requires an explicit local opt-in. It pauses when Instagram requires sign-in, verification or a rate-limit wait. Disabling it stops future automatic batches; a batch already accepted may finish. The helper is separate from each model’s official Instagram account authorization.

Tags And Service Providers

Local visual tagging processes sampled content frames on the agency computer and adds completed tags automatically. Invited team members can inspect or edit those tags. These Trends tagging frames are not sent to OpenAI for that local analysis. Tags can be incomplete or incorrect and do not establish personal identity or sensitive traits. Ember Auto Caption is a separate tool with its own privacy disclosures.

Google supplies identity verification; Meta and Instagram supply authorized account data and media access; Cloudflare provides hosting, access control and private storage. These providers also process technical information needed to deliver and secure requests, and may process information outside your country. Their services are governed by their respective privacy policies.

Access, Correction And Deletion Requests

You can request correction of account or roster information, removal of access, disconnection of an account, or review and deletion of stored information. See Data Requests And Deletion for the support process. We may need to verify your relationship to the account and clarify which shared records the request covers. Revoking access and deleting previously stored information are separate steps.
